Bishop Harvey Young Sr., Senior Pastor
Bishop Harvey Young Sr. is the founder of New Hope Community Church and has served as Pastor of New Hope church for over 25 years. In November 2008, during the International Holy Convocation in Memphis, Tennessee Bishop Young was consecrated and installed as Bishop of the Arizona Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction by Chief Apostle and Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake Sr. As Jurisdictional Prelate his ministry extends around the world. Bishop Young has served in many capacities within the church. He operates in the five fold ministry as an Apostle, Prophet, Pastor, Teacher and Evangelist. God has used him to successfully plant and build many churches and ministries across the country specifically in Arkansas, California, Kansas and Arizona. He takes pride in mentoring pastors and helping them to become all that God wants them to be.
Pastor Harvey Young Jr., Pastor
Pastor Harvey Young Jr. has been ministering the Gospel for over 20 years. Pastor Young attended the West Angeles Bible Institute in Los Angeles, CA and is currently pursing a degree in Psychology at Central
Arizona College. In January 2015 Pastor Young was appointed as the Pastor of New Hope Community Church of God in Christ. His passion for ministry is exhibited in service as he serves as State Sunday Superintendent for the Arizona Jurisdiction Churches of God in Christ and as Episcopal Adjutant to his father Bishop Harvey T. Young Sr., Bishop of the Arizona Jurisdiction Church of God In Christ.
Pastor Young is committed to preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ ‘by any available means’, which he does nightly in his occupation as a Detention Officer for the Pinal County Sheriff Department. He is a living example that. God can turn anyone’s life around. His testimony of healing and deliverance is evidence that the hand of God is upon his life. He is married to Lady Michelle Young who works by his side in ministry and they have two daughters Brooklynn and Baylie.
Lady Michelle Young, First Lady
Lady Young is a devoted wife and mother who has committed her life to service. She is dedicated to building the Kingdom of God by training and developing people to fulfill their full potential in God. Lady Young serves as the President of the New Hope Women's Department and in various areas of the ministry. She enjoys teaching and instruction in ministry and has 15 years of teaching experience in the Higher Education Sector. Professionally she has worked extensively in the field of Communication in areas of Sales Marketing, Advertising, Fundraising and Public Relations. Lady Young has a passion for women's ministry and enjoys sharing her gifts and talents to build God's Kingdom and inspire hope.
